I've been wanting to post about this for quite some time so here it is although i am not really in the mood.
This post may be a little biased... But i'll try to keep it as fair as possible, you can comment if you want but it won't really change my mind anyway haha
Jolin Tsai's 热冬(Hot Winter) from her album 'Flower Butterfly' in year 2010...
And f(x)'s which was released last month...
When i first heard about f(x)'s 'Hot Summer' on Music Bank, I was like 'WTF WHY THEY COPY JOLIN TSAI' But i know its not really copy la, like maybe they had some copyright permission or something... And whenever i hear someone saying f(x)'s Hot Summer is very nice i will tell them to go listen to Jolin Tsai's Hot Winter. Then you say its Jolin's loss that her song Hot Winter is not as popular as f(x)'s Hot Summer, but then that was not Jolin's main song for that album, it was in fact the last song in her album. (I bought both versions of her album, although you can check the internet for her album but whatever)
Ok anyway i also don't know whats my real purpose/intention of this post maybe its just to let you know that this whole song isn't really original?? I know most kpop songs are versions of other songs, or they get the tune from another song whether legally or not, i also like kpop(although i didn't at first). So i'm not here to bash kpop..... (I like f(x)'s 'danger')!
And maybe my other intention of this post is to let you know that Jolin Tsai has this song too and she is my idol
Sometimes i wish mandopop will be as fast trending and big as korean pop, cause kpop has like new songs every week and every idol group has a comeback like every 11 months or something and make appearances everywhere...
Go mandopop! Go kpop! GO JOLIN TSAI! Go f(x)!
